Stefani lives and creates in her home on Vancouver Island; It's there that she makes a life with her island born and raised husband, and their twin boys. Stefani has always been drawn to art, design, nature, and genuine human connection. Before landing permanently on the islands of BC, Stefani was on a path that led her in all the right places to expand her love for all of those things. Having the opportunity to study theology and world religion while doing various types of volunteer work in North America, throughout Europe, the UK, and India, opened Stefani's eyes to culture, design, and human relationships around the world. When she found herself back 'home' in Canada, it was on Pender Island, BC; There she exercised her entrepreneurial spirit, love of coffee, and desire for community, by opening up a coffee shop. At that coffee shop, 'Slow Coast Coffee', Stefani sold her first painting and realized that the dream of being an artist could be reality. Since then she has been able to expand her musings into a business as 'omdl'; Selling product and custom designs to boutiques, wholesale across Canada, and online around the world.
Meet Brent, Production Partner at Omdl
Brent Joined the Omdl team earlier this year as a production partner; His unique take on art + design has been an awesome addition to the custom process as we create logos, designs, and art requests for our clients. We're honoured to have another artist with such a diverse, interesting and meticulous skill set on board! Visit Brent's website at www.aaronsarrows.com to see more of his powerfully enticing work.
Brent's portraiture attempts to penetrate the common everyday face of the subject in order to bring up the sublime elements of Divine Visage inherent but hidden beneath the surface. Commonly worn “masks of mundanity” fade to the background while the more vivid and scintillant qualities of the face emerge and become explicit. The process is Alchemic and Talismanic in nature; through the Furnace of Brush and Pen, the dross of the everyday is transformed into a mirror through which the subject may behold a Truer Self. The primary thrust of Brent’s work is with individuals, and he welcomes any who would wish to see their own, or any other’s face in this mantic light.
